Okay, missing AGAIN for ages… I'm not very good at this regular type thing am I. Well as usual I've been busy and as usual I can't really tell you much about what I've been up to. I will say that I am very close to finishing off a job that will clear up some time and allow me to do some work that you can actually get to see. The job your not allowed to see will be announced when its in the can and has a confirmed published date or issue number. So there.
In the meanwhile, some other news. You'll have noticed the big picture above of the cover of issue 3 of the new Negative Burn (NB) series. NB was a very popular anthology comic that was out in the 90s and received some rave reviews and awards from the industry for the work it showcased. Now it certainly didn't win awards because of my work but my very own strips did appear in the previous life of NB and all thanks to the editor, a sterling guy called Joe Pruett. Joe took some time out at the end of 90s and NB closed it doors, but due to popular demand its back and after a few one off specials its back as a regular title. And being the lucky chap that I am I'm back in the comic again. Issue three reprints a little story I did many years ago called '3rd Time Lucky' and if you have bought my old comic collection 'One Last Time' from me then you'll have already seen it. But for the majority of this Earth that hasn't bought my book from me then it'll be brand new for them, so if your passing a comic shop (or browsing the internet http://www.forbidden-planet.co.uk/acatalog/Negative_Burn__3.html) why not drop by and buy a copy and then in a fit of good will write an e-mail or a letter to the editor stating how much you enjoyed seeing a couple of pages of artwork I did seven or eight years ago and what a smashing idea it would be to maybe use me some more in the their fantastic comic. Just a thought…
