Here's something you should check out. I got my copy of this in the post last week and its just stunning and wonderful. Some of you may know the tremendous work of Brendan McCarthy and if you don't you should. I met him very briefly at Bristol last year where he was hyping his self published (and now sold out) book Swimini Purpose. Quite amusingly he stopped by our table at the show and I chatted to him, after he had gone I turned to Dave and was like 'wow, that was Brendan McCarthy', yoowza, excited fan boy kid on sugar rush! Anyway, Dave had been sketching and hadn't realised who he was and missed out of the chance to gush at Brendan like what I did :) Ha!
So anyway, somehow, someone convinced Brendan to do a new comic book (that don't happen very often let me tell you) and Solo issue 12 is that very comic. It will likely become a collectors thing and hard to get but if you want to see a genuine genius at work go onto Ebay and type in Solo or Brendan McCarthy and you'll be able to get a hold of an issue. Think Dali draws comics and you'll still not be there, very, very good sh*t.

Solo #12 Brendan McCarthy **BUY BUY BUY**
Okay…
…yup, missing again for ages, what can I say. I come very close to just stopping the whole Blog thing cos its just not how I thought I'd use it. I thought it would potentially create more work in an effort to have something new to show and talk about but that just ain't happening is it. I guess I'll hang onto the blog for a bit and see if I can surge my brain into action. tick tock tick tock…
A list seemed to work quite well before so I'll do one again about what I've been up to.
(1) Working
(2) Sleeping
(3) Daniel had the Chicken Pox and then a cold
(4) I had a cold
(5) Bought a new TV after three years of wonky colours and muffled sound on the last set
(6) Lost my ruler
That seems about it but I guess I do have one piece of exciting news. Catriona (that's my loving wife of course) and I are happy to announce that we are having another sprog (baby). We went for the first scan on Monday just past and he/she is healthy and very active, jumping about and waving limbs :) Due date is 30th March so I guess its like my brain and just tick tocking away to the deadline. Cool :o
