Hi-Ex Comic Convention in Inverness, where does the time go? That's very much the feeling I had about the convention! If you've read my previous reports from Hi-Ex over the years it always mentions how quickly the weekend passes by and again this year it was no exception.
As usual the venue, Eden Court, was fantastic, the staff helpful and the glorious Highland City of Inverness was bathed in sunshine for the weekend. The organisers, Vicky Stonebridge and Richmond Clements deserve a very public 'Thank You' for creating such a great weekend, giving up so much of their own time and doing so in the face of poor funding, while managing to help raise awareness and money for the charity Children 1st.
Thanks to all who dropped by my table, thanks also to the good company of Ross Hendry and stalwart table helper Jeremy Briggs, Gary and Mhairi Erskine, Dave Shelton, Tom Crielly, Al Ewing, Cam Kennedy, John Freeman and far too many other people to namecheck that made a very enjoyable convention so if you where there and stopped by many thanks to you all.
Time flies when you are having fun!
