Remember my post last year about 'Whatever Happened to Kevin Cullen?', well I was contacted by Kevin's son, Jack, and hopefully sometime very soon I will be writing a post telling you whatever did happen to Kevin Cullen. But in the meanwhile you might want to check out some of the art Jack has for sale from his Dad's time at 2000ad. He has around 50 pages of fantastic art including Judge Dredd, Judge Hershey, The Creep, Vector 13 and more. If you are interested in owning a piece of original Kevin Cullen art and you'd like to see the full list drop me a message or contact Jack directly on jack-cullen@live.com

Hi-Ex 2012 - The Report!
A whole week has passed by since the fourth Hi-Ex Comic Convention in Inverness, where does the time go? That's very much the feeling I had about the convention! If you've read my previous reports from Hi-Ex over the years it always mentions how quickly the weekend passes by and again this year it was no exception.
A convention spent behind a table for two days means very often the whole event can pass you by but once again the public where a constant presence, all eager to chat about comics and art and thankfully to snap up copies of my sketchbooks, sketches, prints and art I'd brought along. I was even persuaded to get out my pens on the Saturday and do some sketching for people patiently waiting, a rare event for me to 'go live' with my sketches and the photographs sent to me after the show are proof for the unbelievers :)
As usual the venue, Eden Court, was fantastic, the staff helpful and the glorious Highland City of Inverness was bathed in sunshine for the weekend. The organisers, Vicky Stonebridge and Richmond Clements deserve a very public 'Thank You' for creating such a great weekend, giving up so much of their own time and doing so in the face of poor funding, while managing to help raise awareness and money for the charity Children 1st.
Thanks to all who dropped by my table, thanks also to the good company of Ross Hendry and stalwart table helper Jeremy Briggs, Gary and Mhairi Erskine, Dave Shelton, Tom Crielly, Al Ewing, Cam Kennedy, John Freeman and far too many other people to namecheck that made a very enjoyable convention so if you where there and stopped by many thanks to you all.
Time flies when you are having fun!
